Qualifications
I am a U. S. citizen of 53 years. A 3rd generation Colorado native.
I am actively working on federal legislation for the Mancos Water Conservancy District.
20 years of management for the Mancos Water Conservancy District.
Appointed member to the Colorado Southwest Interbasin Compact Committee and 2nd Vice-Chairman.
Duties:
Budget preparation, water management, delivery of irrigation water, water record keeping, policy updates,public relations, general maintenance of project structures, project planning, assistant secretary to the board, manage district funds, grant writing, preparing and submitting language to the U.S congress on issues that concern the District, hydro power plant operator and manager, review state statutes, review federal laws pertaining to the project, submit water reports to the Colorado Division of Water Resources, report to the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. Financial manager, equipment operator, contract negotiations, monitoring the Jackson Gulch Dam, emergency management and security for the project, liaison for the board, water education coordinator.
